Capricorn Coast Trail Rides is seeking another Saturday assistant riding instructor / trail guide...

Applicant will be required to assist on trail rides and with riding lessons as well as carry out the general day to day care of the horses and maintenance of riding equipment .

Due to the hospitality based work you will be required to have a friendly and outgoing personality and also enjoy the company of children, as we mostly cater for families.

You will be required to work Saturdays, and if you can work the occasional Sunday and during school holiday busy times this will be an advantage

Requirements;

Minimum age of 18 years old

Must have sound and confident riding ability along with safe ground skills. We will expect you to be able to ride young horses and assist with schooling of trail and lessons horses.

Qualifications and/or previous experience in riding instruction and trail guiding an advantage and/or an ex-competitor P/C, EFA, Performance horse sports...

Open to learning new skills. We are willing to train the right person and assist you to become qualified.

First aid (or to take part in first aid course on taking the job)

Qld working with children Blue card - or be in the process of applying.

Drivers license, and own vehicle.

Rate of pay will depend on age and experience
