3. Where are you located?

We are on the Yeppoon-Rockhampton main road. Our horse yards are behind the CQP/IGA xpress, The Oaks service station, which is the service station almost half way along this road.

Coming from Rockhampton, heading north on the Bruce Highway turn right at the turn off for the Capricorn Coast at the Dream time centre. Drive for 20km until you see the CQP service station, we are located behind the building.

From Yeppoon, head out towards Rockhampton on the main road, drive for 10km until you reach the CQP service station on the left hand side, we are located behind the building. .

4.I want to go for a gallop / Will we get to go fast?

As with most modes of transport, the faster you go the less likely you are to have control, whether it be a car, motorbike or horse. We prefer to keep you within your riding ability so as you leave our trails in one piece having had both a fun and safe adventure on horseback.

5. Do we have to be experienced riders?

No, the majority of our customers are beginners or first time riders, we ensure that we match you with a suitable horse and provide you with basic instruction before leaving the yards and throughout your trail.

6. What do I need to bring and wear?

You are required to wear long trousers, enclosed shoes and we prefer that you wear tops which cover your shoulders for added sun protection.

We provide you with a riding helmet and all our stock saddles are fitted with toestoppers, which are a device which prevent shoes from becoming stuck in stirrups.
